As a 100% pet-friendly hotel, the Palomar enjoys celebrating the season with all of its guests, especially the four-legged ones. It’s also important to the hotel to give back to the community and support local partners who are doing so much good like Saved Me, a no-kill animal shelter that’s saved over 955 animals this year alone.
On Saturday, December 13th Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Philadelphia welcomes the jolly man in red as all local four-legged Philadelphia residents are invited to the hotel’s living room for its annual Santa Paws event from noon to 4 p.m.
In the warmth of the Palomar’s living room, each pet will visit with Saint Nick himself and tell him what’s on their holiday wish list. A photographer will be on- hand to capture all of the precious moments, and all will receive a woof-worthy gift bag full of special treats from local pet boutique Doggie Style and Poochini gift cards from Shake Shack. The event is complimentary but the hotel will be accepting donations on behalf of Saved Me, formerly Operation Ava, who will be on site as well with several furry friends who need a home for the holidays. Refreshments for pups and their owners alike will be available, courtesy of the adjacent Square 1682, and will include hot coco and holiday cookies.
